We are looking for a hands-on information technologist to provide day-to-day technical leadership and assistance to resolve escalated desktop, network, and server issues along with helping with continual improvement of IT implementation across regulated and non-regulated environments. The Systems Administrator I will provide tactical support along with being a strategic thinker in helping to drive the operational direction forward relative to regulated and non-regulated systems. The Systems Administrator I is expected to have a proven track record of resolving IT issues.LOCATION

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and Monitor Data, Data Backup and Data Archival solutions Help maintain server environment. Including but not limited to Server Hardware Maintenance, Server OS Builds, Security Patching, Active Directory, DNS, Office 365 Administration, SharePoint Administration Troubleshoot and resolve server issues Work with security team to maintain server security Act as escalation path for IT issues that may require advanced troubleshooting Troubleshoot and resolve network issues Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, software, peripheral and lab application issues Troubleshoot and resolve mobile computing and communications device issues. (such as iPhones) Accurately and thoroughly record information into ticket tracking software Escalate problems as needed Provide status updates and follow up resolutions to customers Identify and create documents for knowledgebase Collaborate with other groups to research, document and resolve issues Participate in activities and projects that support IT goals and initiatives as directed Maintain current knowledge of computing hardware, software, and network technology Help maintain network environment. Including but not limited to Switches, Firewalls, and Cabling Produce written documentation clearly and efficiently and take ownership of any required documentation changes or updates in a timely manner TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Experience managing a Microsoft Windows network with at least 150 users across multiple locations, including expertise in Microsoft Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DFS, DNS, SMTP) and managing applications and users via Group Policy. Proficiency in configuring and monitoring storage and backup technologies. Experience managing a Microsoft Hyper-V enterprise environment with multiple physical servers and shared storage. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft SQL Server, and an Office 365 enterprise environment synchronized with a local Active Directory. Familiarity with enterprise-level full-disk encryption solutions. Knowledge of copper 1 Gbps and fiber 10 Gbps networks, including VLANs, LLDP, network segmentation, and setting up and managing Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices. PREFERRED SKILLS Familiarity with regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, 21 CFR Part 820, 21 CFR Part 11, FDA/ISO 13485, GMP, and CLIA. Experience managing a hybrid cloud environment that securely extends local network resources to cloud platforms. Proficiency with Single Sign-On technology, including on-premises federation and third-party solutions like Microsoft Azure. Expertise in setting up and managing firewalls and VPNs to maintain perimeter security and ensure proper logging. Exposure to lab or medical business environments and experience working with distributed teams in a virtual setting. Experience with Synology storage, Digium and SwitchVox systems, Microsoft Great Plains, and Rapid7. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate or bachelor's degree in information systems or IT related subject preferred H.S.
