The Work:
As a Systems Administrator on the this program, you will:
- Work in an agile scrum environment providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of various Information Technology (IT) systems
- Manage IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices
- Patch and harden Linux RedHat OS and works with Security personnel to protect against Cyber Threats

Basic Qualifications:
• Technical Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited University, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with Linux system administration, including installing, patching, troubleshooting and hardening Linux operating systems (both bare-metal and virtual machines)
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.”
Desired Skills:
• IT/Cyber security hardening in a classified environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment
• Experience with ELK, Splunk, or similar log aggregation/analysis tool
• Computer Networking experience, including use of tools like WireShark or tcpdump and network cabling
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (current – will be required within 6 months of start)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
