JOB OVERVIEW

The Systems Administrator - Apple is responsible for auditing, managing, configuring, deploying, and administering all Apple systems and licenses at TopGolf Callaway Brands. Responsibilities include all technical components and strategies for systems like Jamf’s software suite, Apple Business Manager, and 3rd party tools such as Atlassian Jira, Box, Mintab, M365, Microsoft Teams among others. Additionally, the Systems Administrator - Apple will work closely with our Infrastructure & Information Security Teams to target, align, react, and update as needed for existing and new requirements and/or security threats.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, design, support, and implementation of technical components, policies, and strategies for Apple devices leveraging MDM for the management and patching of end point computers and mobile devices.

Manage, monitor, and administer Jamf, Apple Business Manager, and other system tools to optimize IT support, improve overall security, delivery, and configuration of our client endpoint systems.

Audit systems to confirm 100% compliance of computer and device endpoints.

Work with InfoSec on active directory integrations including MFA, LDAP and SSO integrations with 1st or 3rd party applications.

Create and produce reports to convey the effectiveness of endpoint management and patching.

Manage system life cycles and application license renewals.

Maintain change logs to enforce accountability while improving system stability and troubleshooting.

Integrate information security into all aspects of system design, execution, and delivery.

Work with other system administrators to align efforts in the delivery of improved systems and services.

Align with other teams as needed to identify and address vulnerabilities and missing endpoints.

Document the deployment, troubleshooting, and operational processes required to build and utilize our global endpoint management systems.

Develop appropriate training documentation and provide training to our global IT Tier 1 and Tier 2 agents.

Working with the business department leads to delivering training and collecting requirements for system delivery.

Ensure system data integrity to deliver accurate metrics and dependable reports and graphs to senior leaders.

Work with other system administrators to develop and plan the roadmap for our global endpoints.

Take ownership and responsibility for all tasks that are assigned.

Proactively identifies and eliminates impediments to facilitate flow through the systems.

Perform periodic reviews of the systems for accurate configuration, permissions, workflows, data, and logs.

Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes.

Available as needed for problem resolution, system implementation and augmentation on a 24x7 basis.

Demonstrates consistent professional and superior customer service and people skills.

Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor and or manager.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

In depth knowledge of Apple endpoint management systems such as Jamf or equivalent platforms.

Strong expertise in the design, implementation, and management of Apple hardware and software.

Thorough understanding of Apple Business Manager, Apple MDM, VPP application deployment, and other Apple device management technologies.

Strong logic, problem-solving, and project management skills along with specific diligence.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills plus acute customer service skills.

Understanding of deploying Apple devices in a Microsoft enterprise computer dominated network environment.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced, purposeful, team environment.

Ability to isolate and identify opportunities and efficiencies in general IT system design.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in relative areas of technology.

Meticulous and willing to follow specific processes and willingly take specific directions.

Able to produce professional documentation for standards, policies, and procedures.

Learns and adapts quickly to new situations and changing priorities in hectic and chaotic environments.

Able to embrace an environment that is constantly changing to meet the needs of the business.

Professionalism, reasonable judgment, a sense of ownership and responsibility as well as extraordinary communication and customer service skills are imperative to the success of this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

4+ years of experience in Apple Systems Administration in an enterprise environment 

Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or sufficient professional experience and certifications.

Experience in design, execution, and deployment of enterprise IT systems.

Advanced skills with managing Apple products on all levels.

Tech savvy, ability, and passion for learning innovative technology and tools.

Passion for optimizing system design to provide improved customer support and a drive to help end-users.

Ability to: plan, organize and document complex system designs and to configure systems to be consistent with industry standard policies and procedures.

Prior experience deploying Apple endpoints alongside Microsoft systems and/or device management is a plus.
