HOW A SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware. Monitors and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Installs and configures applications software and related hardware (such as desktops, servers, and related peripherals like printers, scanners, hard drives, monitors and video teleconferencing hardware). Provides software and system troubleshooting and support. Provides technical support and training to end-usersProvide guidance, work related leadership and mentoring to less-experienced techniciansMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned (desktop support)Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:High School diploma and 5+ years of directly related experience supporting end-user computing and customer support OR Associates Degree and 3+ years of directly related experience Strong written and oral communicationExcellent customer service skills are required Experience with Microsoft Windows Workstation, operating systems, and common applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Office 365) Experience with desktop/laptop and application support Support for handheld devices ( iOS and Android)Solid understanding of basic networking principles Candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceUS Citizenship requiredLocation: On site
