Key duties include managing software configuration, testing, and deployment. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to address software issues and implement updates or patches. **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** + Provide technical support for complex issues, monitor system performance, and ensure the availability and reliability of both in-house and third-party software applications. + Manage the entire software application lifecycle from installation, configuration and deployment to maintenance and upgrades. + Lead collaboration with development teams to tackle issues and build strong relationships with software vendors to ensure timely support for updates and patches. + Provide mentorship to junior members of the team and lead training sessions for end-users to help them effectively use software applications. + Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to deliver innovative support solutions. Assist in evaluating and selecting new software to meet business needs. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Proven experience (3+ years) as a System Support Analyst or similar role. + Skilled in supporting, troubleshooting, and monitoring both in-house and vendor software applications. + Experience in utilizing RESTful APIs + Proficient in database management and query languages like SQL. + Knowledgeable in software testing methodologies and proficient in applying various levels of testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). + Experience in user access management, modern application security protocols, and implementing cybersecurity best practices in application support. + Excellent business analysis, problem-solving, and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being customer service oriented. + The role is open to junior to senior-level system support analysts **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. + Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation. + Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS). + Familiarity with low code platforms (e.g., Power Platform) **Working with us** There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).
