Description:

You will be a lead test engineer, managing the maintenance and updates of automated production test equipment for the PAC-3 missile program. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test equipment, and you will play a key role in leading a team of test engineers to support production efforts.

What You Will Be Doing
As a lead test engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of test engineers, providing test engineering management coverage for program status meetings, and coordinating solutions for production test equipment issues. You will interface with other functions to define scope, defend BOEs, and propose new solutions, while mentoring and leading less experienced engineers to ensure adherence to test engineering policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading a team of test engineers in supporting PAC-3 program production efforts
• Managing project budgets and creating proposals
• Providing test engineering management coverage for program status meetings, risk meetings, and IPT meetings
• Coordinating solutions and updates for PAC-3 production test equipment issues
• Mentoring and leading less experienced engineers, providing continual feedback and conducting performance reviews

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in a lead role supporting electronics test equipment

• Experience managing project budgets and creating proposals.
Desired Skills:
• 12+ years of Test Engineering experience.

• Proficiency with test equipment programming software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, CVI, etc.

• Experience supporting non-conformance dispositions, Failure Review Boards (FRB), and Material Review Boards (MRB).

• Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.

• Experience developing and supporting DoD test equipment for electronic assemblies and systems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
