System Integration Associate

**Description**
SAIC is looking for a **System Integration Associate** to assist us in support of several programs we currently have and additional ones we are pursuing. This position will be located in Panama City, Florida.
**Job Description** :
+ Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
+ Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing and welding/fitting on assembly units.
+ Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
+ May also set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exact tolerances and dimensions.
+ Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining; fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required.
+ Contributes to completion of routine technical tasks.
+ Tasking is project-based sometimes working at customer sites, and will assist with production and repair of integrated systems.
+ May support ISR and C4ISR programs/clients/systems.
+ Some machines may be numerically controlled.
+ May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education** :
Bachelors and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
**Qualifications** :
+ Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
+ Work independently or with little supervision
+ Utilize hand tools, meters, oscilloscope, etc.
+ Use power tools, drills, saws, etc.
+ Soldering connections
+ Assemble cable harnesses per drawings
+ Possible CONUS & OCONUS travel
**Clearance** :
Ability to obtain an Interim SECRET security clearance to start and the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
**Travel** :
CONUS Travel 10-20% is possible; OCONUS travel may also be required.
