As part of the U.S. Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, you will perform as an entry level Systems Engineer within the area of Deployed Reentry Systems. You will serve the Reentry requalification efforts, and the transition of development programs into production.

As a Systems Engineer Associate, typical assignments include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Generating requalification assessments
• Developing Memorandum of Requalification Agreements (MORAs),
• Generating Basis of Estimates (BOE)
• Providing general program management input to MORAs
• Providing technical systems engineering support for the hardware that is being requalified and reproduced
• Conducting thorough data mining for historical production, investigating hardware obsolescence, putting together trade studies, and making design changes as necessary

This is an entry level position that will work closely with an experienced engineer while utilizing basic concepts learned through collegiate education.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, etc.), or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Must be eligible, and willing to obtain/maintain, a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (US citizenship required).
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.
Desired Skills:
• Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), and work well in group environments.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
