Duties and Responsibilities + Compiles technical specifications for gate driver designs. + Designs gate drivers, including selection and evaluation of suitable components. + Layouts printed circuit boards (PCBs) including compilation of related production data for external manufacturing partners. + Responsible for the low and high voltage evaluation of gate driver designs. + Reviews analysis of competitor products. + Compiles related gate driver documentation. + Visits customers for support and demand creation in conjunction with sales. + Technical support of sales, marketing, customers and business partners. + Compiles technical papers and editorials including their presentation at public conferences. + Participates at exhibits as technical peer for customers and business partners. + Conducts training for internal and external customers. Job Requirements + 2 years of relevant work experience + Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering or other deep technical background in power electronics + Experience in power electronics especially related to gate drivers and inverter systems and/or IGBT and MOSFET technologies + Experience in circuit design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) with CAD systems such as Altium Designer + Experience in characterization of gate drivers, power semiconductors and/or inverter system + Proven capability in handling complex projects and being effective while interfacing with different teams + Very good command of spoken and written English + Able to travel internationally as required + Able to promote and create demands for customers
