Roles and Responsibilities
Develop Point-of- Care ultrasound system/sub-system requirements, architecture/system design and analysis, risk analysis, integration plan and testing and manufacturing testing definition.Apply expertise to help resolve urgent issues with current Point-of- Care products.Lead the design team in the development of verification and validation planning and executionWork with contractors on sub-system components to ensure project timeline and implementation per specificationsOwn and help develop technologies that support competitive technical differentiationDecision making in cross-disciplinary and architectural aspects.Assist Program Manager in execution of projects within time and schedule.Manage Documentation according to Quality Management System process.Required Qualifications
B.Sc. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, M.Sc. is a plusBroad exposure to Mechanical/ Control/ HW/SW/Systems design, and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software etc.)At least 5 years of relevant systems engineering work experience in projects involving design and development of complex systems.Experience as a technical leader of engineering teams,Experience in medical systems – an advantage.Hands on Experience with electronic board design, MFG and reliability testing- an advantage.Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.Proficient in use of software tools for analysis and simulation (MATLAB, etc.) - an advantageDesired Characteristics
