System Engineer (full-time, multiple openings)

L&T Technology Services LLC is in need of System Engineer(s) in Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to design, develop, test, and implement computer applications software. Gather and analyze client business requirements and design and develop computer systems. Oversee the installation of necessary software and customize software to clients’ unique requirements. Work with team members to ensure delivery of project. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field, plus two years of IT experience. The two years of IT experience must include one year of experience using Java, Python, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and IBM Case Manager. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Travel will be required up to approximately 10% of the time. Travel will include trips to various L&T Technology Services LLC’s facilities as well as client facilities across the U.S. Travel based on business needs and may be required to physically examine prototypes as well to review designs for calculation or monitoring purposes.
