As a systems engineer on our team, you'll provide networking, fabrication, security, lab, and deployment support by delivering engineering solutions for network configurations, deployment loading of software, and patching and troubleshooting deployed software and hardware on a variety of servers and switches.

Customers will rely on you to resolve connectivity issues between the lab, live and dev, and production systems, system-to-system applications and interfaces, end-to-end threads, network switch installs, configurations and racks, and stacks and installs of various servers and switch components. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skill set and demonstrate your knowledge of the client's mission software and security, including STN and STE processes. You Have: 

Experience in Network Information Services and UNIX/LINUX operating systems, preferably RedHat or CentOS.

Experience developing and implementing system management automation solutions, such as Ansible.

Experience providing support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of all client server, storage, and network devices.

Experience implementing and interacting with system monitoring software, such as Nagios or Zabbix.

Experience with applying operating system patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrading administrative tools and utilities.

Experience drafting and updating technical requirements, engineering documentation, configuration documentation, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes.

Experience with project management and project planning via software such as the Atlassian Suite.

Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication.

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor's degree in Technology and 20+ years of experience in systems engineering, or 25+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
