As a System Development Engineer at Amazon Ring, you will be at the forefront of image quality innovation in home security technology. As a key member of our device engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and validating image quality for our diverse product line. Key job responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive test systems for Ring's diverse range of smart home security products
Create robust, scalable architectures for test environments that can adapt to new product lines and technologies
Develop sophisticated automated test suites to ensure product quality across all stages of development
Create and maintain scripts for regression testing, performance testing, and stress testing
Implement machine learning algorithms to enhance automated test case generation and execution
Develop software solutions to automate laboratory processes and increase overall efficiency
Work closely with software development teams to understand new feature requirements and specifications
Develop test plans and strategies for new features, ensuring comprehensive coverage
Collaborate on the implementation of diagnostics and debugging tools to aid in feature development
Provide valuable feedback to software engineers based on test results and performance metrics
Work with quality assurance teams to integrate automated tests into the overall quality control process
