System Analyst
Title: System Analyst LTAMDS System Analyst Improve Army Weapon system through performance analysis! ABOUT THIS POSITION KBR is currently seeking a System Analyst to provide analysis of Air and Missile Defense Weapon Systems such as the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS). The candidate will be required to develop knowledge of the LTAMDS system and perform detailed data analysis, write test incident reports, and review incident report responses. The candidate will be required to become familiar with data reduction software, MATLAB-based analysis tools, and become familiar with a wide variety of data reduction output files from the tactical system and from hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulations, the specific variables in the files, and how to apply them to determine sensor performance. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and tracking software changes and system requirements and will develop tools and scripts as necessary to assist in analysis. The ideal candidate should be a problem-solver, resourceful, independently motivated and detail oriented, willing to travel, and work in the office every day. The position requires good time management capabilities, communication skills and computer skills. Relocation: Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or able to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, software, computer, etc.) or other STEM related fields (physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) with 2+ years of experience. + 1+ years of experience in Air & Missile Defense Weapon Systems, Data Analysis, Flight Tests/Ground System Tests + Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on prescribed schedules + Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations + Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers + Demonstratable knowledge of programming languages + Able to travel about 20-25% of the time + Candidate must be a US Citizen + Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Proficiency in working and coding in MATLAB with working knowledge of coding in C, C++, and Python. + Demonstrated basic understanding of radar functionality + Direct experience with radar hardware, radar architecture, and/or signal processing. + Ability to brief audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge + Enjoy working in a dynamic, responsive, and collaborative environment, and dedicated to the success of our Government customers WHO WE ARE: KBR Mission Technology Solutions delivers mission critical, full life cycle services that improve military readiness, drive innovation, and help ensure mission success.
