Position Summary

Provides operational support for the operating systems environment, ensuring efficient system performance.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and resolves incidents, implements changes, and manages operating system inquiries.Maintains the integrity of and supports the operating system and related systems.Administers and maintains the operating system, including backups, recovery, and file maintenance.Installs, tests, and schedules system software upgrades and configurations.Monitors software licensing and maintenance agreements.Contributes to strategic decision-making for the functional area.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.2+ years of systems administration or related experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation application systems.
