A local to Fort Worth energy and utilities company, is looking for a System Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. In this position, you’d be pivotal to the maintenance of their system infrastructure and security.

They are looking to hire a Windows system generalist who is ready to help out where needed – from ensuring system security doing intrusion mitigation, to working on their VMware servers, or helping out with support tickets. You would be helping maintain a smaller infrastructure environment, doing a variety of Windows system administration functions and support. They need someone with a solid foundational knowledge of system security who can help them upgrade to and secure their Windows environment. Tech wise, they need someone strong with Windows, VMware, AWS, Active Directory/Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.

This is a full-time direct hire position with an onsite work environment located in Fort Worth, Texas.

Required Skills & Experience Experience working within a Windows environment, supporting end-users and maintaining servers. Experience maintaining VMware environments working with vSphere and vSphere Replication. Strong foundational knowledge of system security (including intrusion mitigation and detection). Willingness to help with support tickets when necessary. Strong written and verbal communication. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree or related certifications nice to have. Any knowledge of network administration or troubleshooting a perk.
