Job Title: System Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing a large fleet of Windows machines, maintaining pipelines, and interacting with clients regularly. This role involves working with existing frameworks and ensuring security requirements are met.

ResponsibilitiesImplement DevOps infrastructure projects using Terraform.Create, maintain, and iterate on CI/CD processes for new and existing services, including containerizing workloads.Design and deploy complex automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.Manage the continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency.Conduct root cause analysis and manage incidents.Secure, scale, and manage virtual environments.Continuously evaluate existing systems against industry standards and make recommendations for improvement.Essential Skills3+ years managing a large fleet of Windows machines (virtual or physical).5+ years of overall experience.Knowledge of security best practices.Strong knowledge of PowerShell (candidates must complete PowerShell IKM).Strong understanding of networking.Self-starter personality.Additional Skills & QualificationsCloud expertise (AWS, Azure) - highly desirable.Ability to work in PST timezone.Knowledge of VMWare and virtualized environments.Experience with enterprise organizations.Understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificates.Experience with Fortigate or equivalent firewalls.Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).Git experience.Work Environment

100% remote work based anywhere in Canada. You will be part of a highly collaborative team with the flexibility to work autonomously. The standard working hours are 9-5, and there is a strong possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to gain cloud exposure and work within an environment that encourages continuous learning and development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
