System Administrator is responsible for server back up and security, along with performance tuning and capacity planning. SAs should possess an understanding of network and distributed computing concepts.
Complete Description:
The resource in this position assists in the assessment, design, implementation, maintenance and support of SAP application security for Revenue’s Integrated Tax System (ITS) SAP system.
Work includes IT security administration in the implementation and maintenance of the security roles and profiles for Revenue employees and all users of the SAP system; reviewing all security role changes to the production environment and ensuring all role changes are communicated to the business operations teams and end users.
In conjunction with the ITS Technical and Functional teams, work also includes coordinating SAP support pack updates and the testing and auditing of the security roles; and providing knowledge transfer to IT Security Administrators.

- Review application design strategies to determine proper interface with security software and to ensure appropriate data security safeguards and standards are adhered to throughout the software development life cycle.
The individual in this position can be expected to provide on-call security support.
In accordance with the terms of Contract No. 4400007198 and the duties of staff augmentation personnel outlined therein, staff augmentation personnel shall provide complete knowledge transfer to the Department of all tasks and projects assigned by the Department. Knowledge transfer includes complete written documentation including systems design, technical design and specifications, and coding to the Department for all tasks and projects to which personnel are assigned.
