JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and implementing a specialized exercise program for clients.  Assess level of aquatic experience and develop aquatic exercise/activity.  Ensures the swim program meets the needs of the client. Monitors client on a consistent basis to ensure they are exercising safely and effectively. Serves as positive role model for health and wellness. Recommend new ways to attract existing and/or new members to participate in aquatic activities/programs.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

Swim Instructor Certification is required from an accredited organization (USMS, Red Cross etc.). Preferred minimum of two years’ experience as a swim instructor/coach.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Water Safety and/or Lifeguard certification is preferred. CPR certification required.
