The SVP Global Pre-Sales is responsible for leading and scaling our pre-sales organization for the company. This position drives strategic direction growth and performance of the pre-sales team world-wide working closely with sales product marketing and other key functions to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support revenue growth. The SVP Global Pre-Sales provides strategic thought leadership in the development of global pre-sales strategy as well as creation of the vision into tangible business goals and capabilities.

What you will be doing Build and execute on a strategic operational plan for sales engineering function that drives process improvement and innovation globally.Partner with sales leadership to develop and implement go-to-market strategies aligning pre-sales efforts with sales objectives to drive customer engagement and close rates.Develop a deep understanding of market trends competitive landscape and customer needs to ensure the pre-sales organization provides industry-leading insights and solutions.Establishes key performance indicators metrics and measurements and communicate results regularly to executive leadership. Measure and tracks against industry benchmarks and standards.Work in collaboration with executive leadership product engineering and sales teams to ensure alignment with the company’s business objectives and the company’s mission and vision.Establishes the budgeting process for department including strategy allocation and reconciliation.Define and oversee the execution of the department's vision to the executive management team; define and ensure success of strategy is in alignment with organizational objectives.Set managerial direction and oversee all aspects of performance management for direct reports and department. Hold all direct reports accountable for meeting defined goals and operational standards; ensure executive management teams are defining and holding teams accountable for all aspects of performance management of direct reports.Oversee and hold management accountable for all Human Resources-related managerial functions and responsibilities associated with hiring compensation management employment relations and termination of employees. Oversee the workforce planning efforts across department and ensure the overall hiring aligns to department budget and forecast.Identify succession plans for executive leadership team and ensure future leaders are positioned accordingly within the team.Act as a strategic influencer to internal and external peers industry groups and/or customers.Serve as the final escalation point for the highest priority and most complex issues; provide direction and guidance with resolution of issues.Work with executive leadership to plan and set the strategic vision organizational structure operating policies and procedures and management practices to ensure department delivers operational excellence.Partner with appropriate stakeholders and business leaders to ensure success to drive collaborative work across departments.
