SVP, Emerging Product Sales Manager
Job Description:

The Role

As the Emerging Products Sales Manager in Workplace Investing, you will be part of the Sales Senior Management team, leading a national sales team responsible for growth of new Workplace Giving and Student Debt business for Workplace Investing across all markets.

In this role, you will strategically oversee all pipeline sales management and reporting while leading and coaching Account Executive (AE) performance, specifically with opportunity advancement. You will also collaborate with business partners, including Relationship Management, to foster the best chances for opportunity development.

In addition, you will support senior leadership with goal development by segment and communication with AE’s and others across the organization. This will require effective documentation and communication. Accountability is key.

The Expertise and Skills You Have

Proven empathetic leadership experience Sales and/or sales process experience Strong coaching ability Industry experience preferred, but not required You should bring strong communication and collaboration skills to the role that can be applied to your team, our internal business and the marketplace You should have excellent creative and strategic thinking skills that can be applied both to our sales process, as well as strategically to how we go to market You should bring exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and empathy in managing your team, internal and external relationships in a proactive, energetic and customer-obsessed way. You must demonstrate a strong ability to be a quick study – aptitude and intelligence will be important in this fast-moving part of our business You should have a strong comfort with data and data analytics to help leverage and drive better decision-making on our go to market strategy and where to focus our sales efforts Coaching, leading and managing a team of proven sales professionals Engaging and collaborating internally with key partners across Relationship Management, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance and other parts of the business to lead on our go to market strategy in these spaces Representing voice of the market and voice of the customer amongst the extended leadership team within Fidelity Setting direction for our sales organization and the overall growth of our business as part of the senior sales management team that drives Fidelity’s leadership in the marketplace As part of the senior sales management team, creating an inclusive and fun environment which results in your team and WI Sales being one of the best places to work in any industry

The Team

The SVP, Emerging Products Sales Manager leads a team of tenured AE’s who are dispersed geographically around the country. This team enjoys support in a number of areas of the sales process by individuals in our sales support organization. The AE’s lead a complex B2B sales process that ultimately culminates in a team sale, involving various representatives of our Workplace Investing business, including but not limited to Relationship Management, Operations, Implementation and Communications. The SVP, Emerging Products Sales Manager also works with key partners in Finance, Marketing, Reporting and other functions to optimize our go to market strategy.
