Job Title: Sustaining Field Service Technician (Front Half Night Shift)
Job Description

This role involves sustaining, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment onsite. You will be required to wear a bunny suit and a respirator, with respirator use potentially being up to 70% of the time. The role includes regular work with dirty tools and exposure to hazardous materials. You will need to leverage your troubleshooting skills, both electrical and mechanical, to diagnose and fix issues independently, while also being able to ask for help and utilize logic and resources effectively. This position supports the installation and service of thermal management systems, ensuring the continuation and expansion of the business.

ResponsibilitiesSustain and maintain large equipment and machinery.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues independently.Maximize output using constraint management techniques.Train and cross-train team members to build a self-sustaining team.Manage personal activities while supporting team activities.Use basic math skills to solve problems.Maintain detailed attention to multi-task operations.Ensure computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.Essential SkillsProblem-solving abilities.Self-starter mindset.Basic math skills.Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree preferred in technical, automotive/diesel, or related field.High school diploma or equivalent required.2+ years of electro-mechanical experience.Experience with schematics is a plus.Experience with hand tools and power tools required.Multimeter experience preferred.Strong communication skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working in a clean room environment and wearing clean room attire.Comfortable wearing a respirator.Comfortable working in confined spaces and standing for long periods.Comfortable working with hazardous materials and chemicals.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.75/hr.
