About You:
We are looking for a self-driven and motivated person for joining to our team to lead Diageo’s Tequila & Mezcal Sustainability agenda across all the Category as Sustainability Specialist, responsible for supporting the improvement process for all sustainability initiatives in the category, including data analysis, performance report structure, root cause analysis & innovative solutions, working in adherence to core processes and standards.
About the Role:
The Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for the continuous improvement process of the sustainability initiatives to guarantee the resolution of problems that will drive our mission to reduce water consumption, reduce our carbon footprint and position Tequila as the benchmark on recycling.
Process Improvement Leader that will help develop and coach the cultural change in the adaptation of new projects/processesFacilitate and lead the resolution of root causes that will fast-track our sustainability targetsProvide performance data and drive CI activities into weekly Planning Meetings.Analyses loss & waste, validates data and provides a clear strategy to prioritize improvements with leaders of areas.Maintain and ensure data quality of sustainability indicators across the categoryResponsible for reporting processes and delivering outstanding performance in all aspects of the balanced scorecards across all Tiers of Supply Chain & Sustainability.Facilitate and coach improvement projects.Role model good governance around internal and external sustainability forumsExperience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fieldYellow and Green belt six sigmaTrain the trainer desirableDesirable advance EnglishAt least 3 years’ experience in a process environment with a proven track record in team management and engagement, project management and cross-functional team working.A proven track record of utilising manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, set up time reduction, Lean six sigma, reliability centred maintenance Fastrack DMAIC, AM broad-plan.Experience of coaching and influencing a range of stakeholders for success is essential.Ability to interpret and analyze extensive data sources to identify loss and waste, cost saving opportunities and trends (e.g. Harford, SAP, Minitab, ORBIS, PowerBI among others)Proficient in the use of standard business (MS Office, desirable intermediate excel)Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to communicate to all levels across the plantExperience working in a process environment with evidence to demonstrate ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders and cross functional teams to deliver organisational effectiveness and improved business performance.Demonstrated role model behaviour and mentors others to follow a consistent approach and go beyond mandatory minimum requirementsWe offer stellar benefits!
