PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES  
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sustainability Procurement Associate to join our procurement team. The Sustainability Procurement Associate will provide support in implementing sustainable sourcing initiatives, conducting research, and assisting in data analysis to drive continuous improvement across our supply chain. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and growth in the field of sustainability procurement.
 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop and implement a sustainability strategy for procurement, aligning with the company's overall sustainability goals and objectives. Conduct research on sustainable procurement practices and assist in maintaining and updating sustainability-related data and documentation, including environmental, social, and ethical considerations, to support decision-making and drive innovation. Evaluate and assess supplier sustainability performance and support supplier sustainability assessments and audits, including environmental, social, and ethical practices, through audits, assessments, and third-party certifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability criteria into procurement processes, supplier selection criteria, and contract negotiations. Support supplier engagement activities, including meetings, workshops, and training, to communicate sustainability expectations and foster partnerships based on shared values. Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, and communications to share progress and achievements internally and externally. Support efficiencies and optimization of procurement activities within the GPO Real Estate & Facilities team.

 

WHAT YOU BRING  

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sustainability, Real Estate Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience. Experience in procurement or a related field. Internship or coursework experience in sustainability procurement is a plus. Passion for sustainability and a genuine interest in driving positive environmental and social impact through responsible procurement practices. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

 

MEET YOUR TEAM
The Real Estate & Facilities Category Team is part of the Global Procurement Organization and provides excellent business partnering to our internal and external stakeholders. The category is responsible for the definition and execution of global sourcing strategies in close collaboration with business owners, corporate legal, finance and controlling, as well as for sourcing and supplier management across the globe. The Category Real Estate & Facilities includes categories such as FM Services, Construction Engineering, Real Estate and Utility Procurement.
 

Within your daily tasks you will work closely with the category managers/buyers around the world of the three teams Utility Procurement, FM Services, Construction Engineering and Real Estate. You can expect a very diverse and highly motivated team with focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
