JOB DESCRIPTION:The sustainability data analyst intern will support the corporate sustainability team by analyzing data to help drive our sustainability strategy. This role will engage with cross-functional stakeholders to improve data processing and provide valuable insights to help us meet our objectives.
TASKS COULD INCLUDE:
Data collection, quality, and management: assist in gathering, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining sustainability data from various internal and external sourcesData analysis: analyze sustainability-related data (e.g. utility data, waste reduction, transportation initiatives, carbon footprint) to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvementReporting and visualization: support the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate sustainability metrics and progress to stakeholders Collaboration: work with other departments such as operations, supply chain, and transportation to ensure accurate data collection and reporting Continuous improvement: identify opportunities for improving data collection processes and methodologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of sustainability reporting
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation date in 2026 or 2027 (current sophomore or junior) Coursework in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, and/or Information Systems/Management Information Systems Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
PRFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Proficient in Microsoft Office Demonstrated knowledge, interest and/or familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, programming languages such as SQL or Python, and analytics, statistics, data modeling and/or data management

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
