Role description:

The sought-after professionalism will become part of the Sustainability Solutions team with the role of Sustainability Consultant. During this period, you will be supported with the aim of gaining practical experience in the sector of the main technologies related to energy efficiency in the industrial and tertiary sectors.

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will be a fundamental resource for Arcadis' economic and reputational development. You will be involved in innovative projects that reflect the spirit of the company, and you will provide support to the company's business lines in the implementation of new initiatives. You will be also involved in sustainability management practices together with professionals in the sector, with the possibility of working in dynamic and high-level teams.
 

Role accountabilities:

Carry out field visits and surveys throughout the national territory. Carry out feasibility studies for access to incentive mechanisms; Identify the most appropriate energy efficiency solutions through the preparation of energy diagnoses, accompanying the customer in choosing the most suitable interventions deriving from them; Application of European protocols in the energy sector such as: CRREM and EU Taxonomy; Implementation of "green assessment" with particular focus on GHG emission and carbon footprint of real estate assets; Implementation of whole LCA for embodied carbon calculations; Work on sustainability and circular economy services; Collaborate with your colleagues of inter-disciplinary teams for technical due diligence and design assessments
 

Qualifications & Experience:

Around 2/3 years of experience in the Facility Management and consulting activities in energy sector. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering (other engineering backgrounds would be accepted in case of relevant experience). Excellent proficiency in English (Minimum B2). Strong understanding of the renewable energy landscape including sourcing, market-based instruments, pricing models and benefits of different energy generation methods. Strong understanding of LCA methods – proficiency in using Oneclik software Excellent ability in analysis and synthesis. ability to build calculation models; knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical and electrical systems; knowledge of automation and control, regulations in force in terms of energy efficiency (White Certificates and Industry 4.0), refrigeration systems; ability to define economic models; Ability in managing energy modelling with softwares such as IES, termolog. Availability for business trips on the national / international territory

Nice to have:

EGE Certification
Project management certification PMP or similar;
Experience in design activities
Sustainability credentials (LEED, BREAM, WELL etc.)
Good knowledge of LEVELs framework and other international energy-environmental protocols
