We are looking for a Sustainability and Social Value Associate for our regional clients.
Role Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability and Social Value Associate to join JLL’s Work Dynamics department. The Sustainability and Social Value Associate will be responsible for to deliver services for some of our high profile clients, you will play a pivotal role to support the client’s programme and ensure that we deliver our sustainability and social value obligations. The purpose of the programme is to improve customers’ experiences in every building for which the client is accountable for the delivery of workplace services. The contract is permanent.
We are aligned with the client you’ll be supporting to drive sustainability and social value through everything that we do, across all service lines, operations and job positions.
What this job involves
Report to a Social Value Manager on our Workplace Management team, with dotted line to our Property and Asset Management Social Value Lead, to deliver the client’s sustainability and social value strategy in a co-ordinated mannerSupporting developing action plans and implement identified actions for sustainability and social value initiatives across the portfolio and embed within overall JLL account deliverySupport the delivery of the client’s sustainability and social value communications plan and contribute to bulletins and other communications materialsSupporting creating sustainability and social value reporting and provide training for the key stakeholders involved in delivering these servicesPopulate and frequently update the social value tracker and track resultsSupport conducting impact analysis of sustainability and social value initiatives and identify action to deliver enhanced outcomesPerform an end of year lessons learnt appraisal and identify improvements for the futureSkills and Experience – Essential
Minimum 3 years work experience as a sustainability/social value manager or experience in delivering similar responsibilities in a different roleBe passionate about sustainability and social valueAbility to engage with colleagues both within JLL and client side at various levels of seniority and understanding of sustainability as a subject matter areaFamiliarity in working within a complex, corporate environmentFamiliarity in managing accounts for clients with complex needsConsistently deliver performance targets and takes quick, corrective action when required to exceed expectations where possiblePrevious evidence of involvement in delivering social value and sustainability reports, and communication materials within a large client or organisational settingAble to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner while under time pressureGreat communication skills - excellent presentation skills (verbal and written)Ability to think broadly, create a shared vision, and embrace change as an opportunitySkills and Experience – Desirable
