Position Description: Collect, extract, clean, and analyze data to interpret results and validate dashboard insights to ensure accuracy for management business decisions, learning, regulatory compliance, and betterment of Sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Collect, extract, clean, and analyze data to interpret results and validate dashboard insights for generating company performance data and metrics, supported by regional Sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) leadership teams, relative to ESG goal attainment across company. Generate calculations required for Sustainability and ESG reporting, including consolidation of metrics across reporting entities and assuring completeness of data. Maintain quality data within source systems, address duplicates, errors, or outliers to ensure accurate interpretations. Track and analyze sustainability metrics (e.g., energy consumption, water, waste production, embodied carbon and other forms of carbon emissions) at organization and project levels. Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders, inclusive of key performance indicators (KPIs), progress toward goals, and industry rankings. Understand and follow established ESG related industry standards, reporting frameworks, and methodologies, and document standard operating process (SOP) for common and repeatable tasks. Support sustainability audits and internal/external reporting. Identify meaningful ways to visualize information to communicate insights and improvements for accuracy of reporting. Assess and conduct testing of company data to identify data trends, relationships, correlations, variances, and abnormalities. Contribute to continuous improvement reviews of ESG standard operating procedures (SOPs) and non-financial reporting processes. Work in collaboration with Headquarters’ (HQ) Sustainability and ESG teams, regional ESG leaders, and project teams to review business intelligence, data analysis, and research results for root cause analysis and identification of ESG trends. Provide clear communication to support technical and non-technical stakeholders’ understanding of analytical processes and insights. Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs for collecting, organizing, and analyzing information. Build internal and external network in support of Sustainability and ESG reporting. Research and apply industry best practices for data collection and analysis methodologies. Participate in professional organizations, conferences, and events beneficial to ESG related continued learning, program expansion, and business development.
