Foth is currently seeking a Survey Crew Chief who has a desire to contribute to our clients’ success and is looking for new learning experiences and opportunities for career growth. This position will be working out of our Franklin, WI location. This is an exciting time for our survey team as we are growing due to client demands. Primary Responsibilities: Utilizing digital level to set high accuracy elevations on project control and benchmarks Operating traditional land surveying tools (GPS/Total Stations) to complete topographic mapping surveys Calculating horizontal and vertical positions from engineering plans for contractors to utilize during construction season Providing field and post processing support for 3D scanning and sUAS(Drone) operations Completing property research for Land Surveying activities Create parcel maps and plats for transportation projects Drafting of existing site conditions utilizing multiple software programs Required Qualifications: Minimum education of an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field Previous experience utilizing CAD software and/or survey equipment Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Trimble survey equipment Previous experience collecting and processing field data Previous experience with boundary, platting, and construction staking Previous experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Why Foth: Established Reputation: With over 86 years of experience, we are proud to be 100% member-owned.Dynamic Culture: Benefit from a values-based, client-centered, and flexible work environment, with ample professional growth opportunities and supportive colleagues, contributing to our impressive 92+% member retention rate.Challenging Projects: Engage in diverse and exciting projects that promote continuous professional growth and development.
