Job Description
Seeking a Survey CAD Technician to support a growing civil engineering firm. The Technician will work with survey field crews to create CAD drawings and maps in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Majority of the work is topographic survey, but will also support ALTA, boundary, right-of-way, as-built, and construction staking. Support work for state and local public projects, commercial, industrial, K-12, retail, and more. Will be working with an experienced team that can help train and grow career.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare field‐to‐finish CAD drawings and DTM surface generation within AutoCAD Civil 3D
-Limited possessing of field data associated with Boundary, Topographic and ALTA surveys, along with Construction and Utility Surveys, Horizontal and Vertical Control Surveys, and Roadway Surveys
-Read and interpret survey and construction plans
-Obtain property research from internet sources
-Obtain utility plan information from OUPS and municipal internet sites
-Work directly with field staff and engineers
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-2+ years survey CAD experience (topo, alta, boundary, construction staking, etc.)
-Fundamental understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
-Civil engineering, CAD or related technical degree preferred
-Must have experience and understanding of Ohio and local agency/authority requirements for preparation of survey documents

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
