interpersonalcommunication skillsStrict adherence to policies and regulations regarding maintenance of sterile field requiredKnowledge and practice of basic care and patient safety conceptsApplication of the principles of asepsis in a manner that provides optimal patient careKnowledge of OR emergency situationsPrimary role will be as a CST in one of our seven cardiac or vascular operating rooms expanding fast paced high volume high acuity specialty area Hybrid endovascular procedures open vascular cases and busy Open Heart program including transplant and Heart failure surgeriesOn call obligation required for covering week nights and both weekend days and nights after the orientation processWorks as a team member in the operating room alongside the rest of the surgical team to provide patient centered care to high acuity patients After orientation there is a possibility for flexible scheduling including evening or weekend only schedule for the right candidateWe take great
