Surgical Technologist
Job Description

The Surgical Technologist is an essential allied health professional within the surgical team, providing care to patients across all age groups from infancy to geriatrics. This role functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse, ensuring the operating room environment is secure, equipment is functioning correctly, and surgical procedures are conducted to maximize patient safety. The position demands a thorough understanding of sterile and aseptic techniques, human anatomy, surgical procedures, and the effective use of tools and technologies to assist physicians in performing invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
