Functions as a member of the healthcare team by performing scrub duties for patients of all ages. Scrubs for all types of surgical procedures, demonstrates and maintains sterile technique. Monitors and obtains supplies for the operating room and central supply. **CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURE &/OR REGISTRATIONS:** Graduate of an accredited Surgery Technician program. Current Surgical Technician certificate or diploma. Current certifications in BLS and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting or completion according to hospital Education Policy. **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:** Six months surgical scrub experience preferred.
