As our Surgical Tech at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you. 

The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process. 

Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilizationNavigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting Adapt to the needs of emergency situationsProvide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. 

Qualifications
Minimum

High school diploma or GED

Completion of surgical technologist program or a minimum of 6 months of surgical technologist experience

Preferred

Surgical technologist program graduate and a minimum of one year surgical technologist clinical experience
