**Overview** As our Surgical Tech at CHI St Vincent Infirmary, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you. The outpatient surgery unit runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. \#hellosurgicaltechs **Responsibilities** + Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization + Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting + Adapt to the needs of emergency situations + Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient + Must be able to rotate call and report within 30 minutes, if called for a procedure **Qualifications** + Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or graduate of an approved surgical technology program (one or two year program) + Certified Surgical Technician, preferred but not required + BLS Certification required + Must be able to rotate call and report within 30 minutes, if called for a procedure **Pay Range** $27.25/hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
