Pay Range: 21.93 - 29.60
1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Medical Assisting or Front Office Administration program completion preferred.
2. One (1) year prior experience with surgical scheduling is required.
3. One (1) year of prior experience in a medical office.
4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
SKILLS:
•Medical terminology.
•ICD-9/10 & CPT Coding.
•Basic typing and keyboarding skills.
•Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
•Experience with customer service and multi-line phones.
•Familiarity with computers, EMR software, and other office equipment.
•Ability to prioritize responsibilities.
•Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
•Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation. •Knowledge of contracted insurance plans and procedures.
•Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and peers.
