Surety Client Manager

Position Overview

The Surety Client Manager is responsible for assisting Producers with the servicing of assigned surety accounts in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares and coordinates all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned surety accounts, including but not limited to: Applications, billing, policies, invoices, change request, renewals, &cancellationsPrepares invoices, transmittals, renewal certificates and cancellation forms as requiredReviews and processes change requests in the agency management systemSets- up and maintains new and renewal client filesParticipates in the renewal preparation process, including generating renewal updates on accounts specified by the ProducerProvides quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriersReviews bond forms for completeness and accuracyPrepares surety bonds for delivery to clientsCommunicates with company personnel regarding the client’s needs and/or issuesMaintains an accurate suspense system on all items that require a responseFields phone calls from surety customers regarding questions about their bonds, renewals, changes payments, cancellations etc.Maintains complete customer filesResponsible for scanning communications and documentsInput/maintain data on account management system and ancillary systems as requiredOther reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor

Work Experience & Qualifications

2-3 years of surety/insurance experience strongly preferredHigh School Diploma requiredOhio P&C License requiredAFSB Certification a plus

Exceptional customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and data entry skillsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skillsProven ability of working in a successful team environmentAbility to exercise independent judgment and self motivationProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilizationSurePath / EPIC / Applied Agency Management System experience preferred but not required

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: High school or equivalent
