Surety Assistant Client Service Specialist

The Assistant Client Manager provides support to the Client Service teams in all account management initiatives related to surety client’s accounts.

The Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage renewable business 60 days in advanceManage and collect on accounts receivable itemsCoordination with internal and external contacts to resolve accounting discrepanciesSupport of new client onboarding processesManagement of required surety carrier documentsSupport on new bond execution in surety carrier portalsDemonstrate ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients/peers/surety carriersSupport other surety staff as needed or assignedAttend client meetings as required

The Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Minimum 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience in a Surety environmentInsurance related and other professional designations highly desirablePossesses effective verbal and written communication skillsPossesses excellent interpersonal skillsQualified candidates will be those who demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, teamwork and prioritization skills, and highly effective customer service capabilitiesAbility to handle multiple priorities using sound judgment and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environmentStrong decision-making capabilitiesMust be results orientedAbility to provide superior customer service to the client and the suretiesStrong organizational skills in prioritizing duties and multi-tasking, with the ability to consistently meet deadlinesAbility to learn and utilize EPICIndependently carry out specific assignments and tasks
