Job Summary

Performs accurate and timely registration and check-in of all patients and verification of demographic information.  They will also need to perform diverse secretarial duties for the clinic such as phone communication and general clerical duties within the Palliative Care department.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year of medical secretarial school preferred. Three or more years of secretarial experience in a similar work environment required.  Business background preferred. Familiar with medical terminology preferred.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$17.50 - $22.00 per hour
