Summary About the Position: This is a Support Services Specialist, GS-0342-07 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District located in multiple locations. This position is located in an industrial facility with higher than normal noise levels due to operation of plant equipment. Responsibilities Assist Hydropower Manager with formulation and revision of the annual operating budget for projects. Research files such as management plans or other documentation to gather data and project needs. Plan work to include establishing schedules to meet priorities and suspense dates. Responsible for timekeeping and related duties, using an automated reporting system. You will provide expertise for procurement of goods, supplies and services at multiple Power Plants. Review specification and contract scopes of work to ensure clarity and biddability. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-07: Have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal Service performing at least 2 out of 3 of the following duties: 1) tracking budget allocations or expenditures for an organizational budget OR 2) managing organizational staff timekeeping in an automated system OR 3) tracking contracted services for completion prior to payment. OR Have one full academic year of graduate level education related to this occupation. (e.g. Major study- Business Administration, or other administrative or management fields related to the position). Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
