Job Description:

As a part of Lenovo SSG (Services Solution Group) the Global Services Product Manager will guide the creation, enhancement, and expansion of Lenovo Services across geographies.  The role’s primary objective is to grow, enhance and expand the Services Portfolio and related offerings initially in the area of Configuration and Deployment services.  This role requires a dynamic thought leader who is comfortable and effective at influencing across worldwide and regional leadership teams to ensure the product requirements, business objectives, and P&L targets are met.

This role also requires both strategic thought and the ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative data to drive informed decisions and targeted growth initiatives.  The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in a combination of IT Technology, Services, or Product Development. 

This candidate must have strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels.  They will further act as a technology-oriented Services specialist and evangelist, both internally and externally.   They must be able to communicate complex value propositions often associated with Services solutions and assist in impactful promotional messaging.   

Further, the candidate will engage on a day-to-day basis with key contacts in multiple functional areas and business units across Lenovo’s organization.  The role will require problem solving capability and a level of operational knowledge and related business matters to be able to help drive program success and provide financial, operational and status updates with recommendations to management.  The candidate will need to engage management with an effective, efficient and responsive style.

Product management and offering development processesAbility to develop multi-year strategies and execution plansDeep understanding of service sales product offerings and competitive landscapeCustomer insight and ability to identify high value, business outcome objectivesStrong analytical skillsetStrong communication and presentation skillsCollaborative approach & ability to influence across the organizationAwareness, knowledge, experience in and understanding of, IT Services solutions, products, vendors, and the value propositions associated with typical solution offerings.Work with the Portfolio Management Team to create customer guided, portfolio level, Multi-generational product plans.Engaging customers and collecting market data from credible sources to identify high value, business outcome objectives.Perform within a Product Lifecycle Process, completing the associated deliverables in a timely nature with high quality to meet the needs of the program.Create and maintain business cases, socialize, advocate and gain agreement to the plan globally, establishing inclusion into the forward business commitments.Participate in the development, proofing and presentation of Solution Sales enablement materials for customers, prospects, business partners and channel.Support the Solution Sales Specialists by attending/participating in key events such as conferences, trade show booth/exhibitions, focus groups, customer briefings, customer advisory councils, interlocks and related matters.Establish a relationship with sales and ultimately reference and feedback customers, leading any contractual agreement necessary to include them in the solution release process.Furthermore, leveraging them effectively where possible for mutually beneficial marketing and promotional opportunities.Assist sales to progress prospective customer engagements forward, while concurrently providing communication/updates at management reviews.Support all pre and post launch organizational readiness aspects of solution lifecycle processes as it relates to go to market plans and needs.Must be a change agent that facilitates and supports driving new solution capability for Lenovo globally.Collaborative approach & ability to influence across the organizationExperience prioritizing and delivering to global markets

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required, Masters degree a plus5+ years of IT technology, end user support, and/or client device services experience5+ years of experience in global damage protection related services offerings sold in the IT market. Managing at the portfolio level (aligning multiple products or offerings to a multi-generational strategy).5+ years of product development or similar experienceExecutive level communication & presentation skillsExperience working with global teams and conducting business internationallyAdditional 5+ years of experience in a related cross functional role in hardware-oriented product management, business development, selling, implementing, supporting successful technology Managed Solutions vendors.Strong knowledge regarding the IT Managed Services marketplace, specifically end-point management, and the value to both large and SMB sized customers.Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationallyCommercial experience to help carve out partnerships and perform make/buy analysisFunctional understanding of operational practices in support of Managed Services.Ability to learn, establish and communicate features, benefits, key messages and value propositions to prospects/customers.Strong business development, contractual, product management and process knowledge based on experience in a technology-centric organization including enabling solutions for sales and distribution into the IT Managed Services marketplace.Ability to lead and collaborate on cross-functional projects in a large corporate, matrixed environment.Ability to interface directly and effectively communicate across customer, partner, sales and channel organizations from executive to administrative support levels.Spirit of entrepreneurship and taking initiative, requiring high-energy, fast-paced, highly responsive and proactive teaming/collaboration skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in an autonomous capacity.Travel domestically as required up to 25% with the potential for international travel as the need arises across Geos.Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering, Business, Marketing and/or technology-related field.Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Requirements:

Understanding of multiple country/region complexities for global Managed Services solutions.Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills with competence exhibited in Microsoft Office and other Microsoft offerings including Teams, Outlook, Dynamics etc.,Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare and/or technology-related field a major plus.
