A supply tech is responsible for distribution of supplies throughout the hospital. The tech will inventory all assigned supply rooms and place orders for supplies using an iPad. The tech may also be responsible for fulfilling the supply order and once the order is fulfilled, the tech will place the supplies in their correct rooms and locations within the rooms. Responsible for stocking all hospital specialty carts
Responsibilities Reviews supply orders and pick tickets errors; accurately gathers and delivers supplies to appropriate departments.Downloads, processes and prints daily pick lists using correct control number.Maintains assigned inventory location - includes: Inventory replenishment, inventory rotation and proper disposal of empty boxes.Performs cycle counts according to Policy and Procedure. Identifies problem areas and plans corrective actions with supervisor.Assures Saturday deliveries are documented and delivered as required.Coordinates daily work requirements with fellow workers to ensure that workloadcompleted before shift end.Monitors stock-outs and shortages. Documents and communicates all potential problems according to department procedure. QualificationsThe following, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements to perform the essential functions of this position:
Education/formal training/licensure/certification/experience:
High School Graduate. One year experience in a supply or hospital environment. Prefer experience with medical/surgical supplies or completion of medical terminology course.Ability to adjust to performing multiple functions at a demanding pace.Basic math and keyboard skills. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to learn and retain a basic knowledge of automated inventory systems and medical equipment and supplies. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high accuracy rate.Working Conditions:
Primarily in a controlled environment. Occasional exposure to the elements when outside doors are opened to bring in supplies or trips to ASC and HFC to check Shock Carts.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to access Moore Regional Hospital and the immediate surrounding facilities. Frequently requires lifting and carrying articles weighing up to 25 pounds. Must push or pull carts with supplies or equipment totaling 70 pounds. Manual dexterity, hearing acuity and verbal ability. Continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending and squatting.
