Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEM ANALYST of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD in the Supply Chain Management Policy, Process and Performance Management Division (NAVSUP 42). Positions exist within the Allowancing Team and the Supply Master Data Team in support of supply system integration of traditional and Advanced Manufacturing supply chains. Responsibilities You will plan, develop and implement long-range, intermediate and short-term supply chain management goals in support of designated business process. You will be responsible for defining integrated supply chain management plans, recommending innovative solutions for possible application to Navy programs/systems and assist in the development of findings and recommendations. You will support supply chain or process owners to ensure compliance with set processes, policies and procedures. You will develop, establish and implement NAVSUP supply chain policy and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Systems Analyst experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of inventory, logistics, and supply chain management and knowledge of supply operations management policies, business process analysis methodologies, concepts, practices, and principles in order to analyze and develop solutions for problems to ensure continued effective support is provided to customers at the ashore, afloat, and depot maintenance facilities. Also, experience analyzing and researching various automated supply systems in order to improve quality and performance of the supply program by adapting and/or applying evolving technology. Also, comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to include: Master Supply Data, Supply Planning, Allowancing, Procurement, Repairable Management, Order Fulfillment. Specialized Experience must include:1) Participating in supply chain management studies, identifying deficiencies in performance, and recommending changes for correction;2) Establishing liaison with functional experts and sub-process managers to support supply chain or process owners to ensure compliance with set supply management business processes, policies, and procedures; 3) Providing analysis to develop strategies and procedures to improve the Supply Chain processes effectiveness; and 4) Interpreting various supply chain policies, and regulations to recommend improvements.
