In this position... 

This is a role for Supplier Risk Management group at Ford. The selected candidate will perform leading on-going cross-functional resourcing team meetings, lead program management of resourcing actions, track and document all ongoing supplier risk related open issues through resolution. Lead or support new or ongoing production constraints, and supplier risk mitigation plans.

You'll have... 

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of business analytics experience serving a supply chain environment.

Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical). Experience in presenting to senior management is essential. Project Management Skills: Experience supporting or managing projects, ideally within a supply chain context. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is helpful. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop and implement effective solutions. Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Expert-level skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook are essential. Professional Demeanor: Candidates must possess a professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8 .

What you'll do...

Lead the development and deployment of constraint mitigation actions to protect assembly/powertrain plant production as a result of supplier constraints or catastrophic losses Utilize SRM (Supply Risk Management) tool to intervene proactively avoiding potential supply disruption Support Program Purchasing and STA in identifying high risk suppliers in Global Capacity Studies and then lead the active resolution of capacity/supply issues Lead the development of supplier support plans that aid in the execution of short-term capacity increases and/or production schedule changes that can lead to supplier capacity constraints Develop and execute supply base/commodity strategies.  Lead cross-functional teams regarding on-time execution of GPDS (Global Product Development System) sourcing process Develop plan and manage Supplier Resourcing actions in accordance with Resourcing Implementation Board (RIB) processes and procedures: Lead on-going cross-functional resourcing team meetings (PD, STA, PCO, FCSD, MP&L and PVT Engineer or Plant Engineer) Identify full scope of parts, plants and programs associated with distressed supplier including current and forward model. Lead program management of resourcing actions, including problem resolution with the cross-functional team. Track and document all ongoing open issues through resolution – via Resourcing Work Plans (RWP) publication/update. Coordinate or conduct tool audits. Lead and support bank build requirement calculations, storage issues, and raw materials needs and issue inventory stockpile Purchase Order. Lead and Coordinate bank builds. Lead set-up logistics for transfer of tools via third party (NMLI Transportation). As required, lead or support on-site supervision of tool removal and raw/finished goods inventory. Manage capital & tooling disposition with new supplier or Ford Asset Sales. Work with New Supplier and MP&L to ensure new releases are established (avoid obsolescence). Facilitate with MP&L new packaging approval, re-route and inventory management of containers.
