About this Role

The Supply Planning Leader primary role is to lead a team of Supply planners located across APAC, enabling smooth operations and the team to deliver service, cash, cost and capability.

You will be responsible for:

Coach, mentor and develop supply planning team.Ensure Supply Planning systems and processes in place are aligned to global supply planning standards.Delivery of optimal supply network plan to meet customer service OTIFNE targets and drive Diageo inventory performance to level of top 3 CPG companies.Own appropriate inventory policies in partnership with markets to deliver upon agreed business targets.Represent Supply in leading S&OP process, balancing demand and supply signals whilst ensuring strategy and annual targets can be delivered.Lead and embed continuous improvement agenda across wider supply planning team enabling effective delivery of performance improvement plans prioritised by business targets.  Including customer service and inventory targets.Track progress of performance improvement plans and course correct to consistently ensure projected benefits are achieved.Address any supply disruption or conflict situation through consensus solution or recommendation for escalation.Coach, mentor and develop supply planning team.

   To be successful in this role, you will need:

5 years + Supply Chain planning experience in CPG (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, SMR, Logistics).Additionally, some wider cross functional experience preferable e.g. commercial, finance or supply.Exceptional systems experience within supply chain optimisation platforms (ERP / master data, time-phased replenishment planning systems).Understand, implement and sustain global supply planning codification agenda.Detailed understanding of end-to-end supply chain operational processes e.g. DRP, MPS, inventory, conversion, logistics and customer service.Exceptional influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and manage tension in demand/supply and S&OP conversations.Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.Customer centric mind set.Numerate with statistical, and analytical skills and attention to detail.High degree of quantitative and analytical skills.Proficient in MS applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
