Job Description

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

Coordinate production plans with Lennox manufacturing plants and external suppliers to ensure proper product mix and desired inventory levels utilizing capacity rates, lead-time, level loading, safety days of supply, safety stock and pre-building scheduling techniques.Monitor actual production to planned production, fill rates, inventory balances, working capital reports and respond to out-of-tolerance conditions.Determine the best metrics to use to identify and address supply issues.Develop new and innovative methods of analyzing data and determine which methods to apply.Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to product availability.Develop strong relationships and collaboration with manufacturing plants, demand planning, supply planning, deployment planning, product management, transportation, sales and customer service to meet business goals.Proactively communicate any service issues related to stock availability, and coordinate resolution, involving all facets of planning appropriately.Identify planning system and process improvements.May guide, provide direction, and training to less experienced team members. Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business Administration.Requires at least 1 year Production Planning and/or Inventory Management experience.Experience with advanced planning tools, preferably SAP IBP.Possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management.Good understanding of best practices in supply planning.Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and training skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and solid Customer Relations skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
