Your role and responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Supply Planner to join our Purchasing team in System Drives division in Helsinki, Pitäjänmäki. As Supply Planner you will play a vital role as part of Supply Chain Management in managing selected suppliers short term material availability and securing availability to production lines for Helsinki (Finland) and Juri (Estonia) factories for System Drives and Service divisions. You will work closely with our suppliers, sourcing and production teams, as well as with logistics, R&D and quality. This position is a temporary parental leave substitute until the end of May 2026.The work model for the role is: #LI-hybridYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tSecuring material availability for production by proactively managing supply network•\tOverseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues•\tAligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery and sustainability•\tBuilding, maintaining and managing supplier relationships and keeping up good communications•\tInitiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements•\tMonitoring actively that buffer levels (supplier buffers and own buffers) are on agreed level for own suppliers•\tClose co-operation with production, sourcing and factory logistics teams in Finland and Estonia•\tEnsuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures
Qualifications for the roleA few years´ of experience in logistics and/or supply chain management, working as a buyer with industrial electronics background is essential. Previous experience working with electronics manufacturing service (EMS) or power electronics suppliers is seen as a benefit.Ability to demonstrate your experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures, e.g. SAP is essentialKnowledge of SAP MM module, Power BI and Excel is relevantYou have collaborative mindset, solution-focused approach and strong communication skillsFluent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English are essentialAbility to influence others, good negotiation skills.; a systematic and target oriented approach to workB.Sc. or similar in degree in e.g. logistics, supply chain management or commercial studies
