Ensuring staff is utilizing these resources to their fullest. * Minimize distribution fees by assisting Buyer’s in maximizing purchase orders efficiencies as outlined in contractual agreements with our supply distributors. * Coordinates stock inventory activities within the supply chain department by reviewing, evaluating, and taking appropriate action from vendor's daily activity reports to ensure supplies are continuously updated and appropriately ordered. * Assists in the development & design of data collection and retrieval methods for clinical, technical and managerial purposes. *Education/Accredited Programs* * **High School Diploma or equivalent, AAS preferred. * 5 years of materials/supply chain experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. * 0-2 years of supervisory experience preferred. *Licenses/Certifications/Registrations* * **Valid New York State Driver’s License which will be checked annually with DMV. *Skills/Abilities* * **Must demonstrate strong people skills and the ability to communicate well with all levels of management both verbally and in writing. * Demonstration of ability to organize work, delegate, and oversee the progress of others. * Able to use common sense and independent decision-making. * Demonstrate critical thinking/analytical skills. * Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects and to handle fluctuating workloads, timelines, and the ability to multi-task. * Able to foster relationships and TEAM building. * Understand the concepts of purchasing, inventory control, distribution and receiving. * Have a working knowledge of Workday. * Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Work and PowerPoint. * * *Communities We Serve* Located in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack mountains, Glens Falls is conveniently located a short drive away from the capital region and Lake George.
