Job Overview:
The U-Haul Supply Chain Internship offers motivated students an opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain management, logistics, and operations. As a summer intern, you will work alongside industry professionals to enhance supply chain processes, analyze data, and support initiatives that drive operational efficiency across our network.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with analyzing supply chain workflows to identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inventory management, procurement, and logistics.Research and develop strategies to optimize vendor relationships and sourcing decisions.Monitor supply chain data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Participate in supply chain projects, including cost reduction, process improvement, and sustainability initiatives.Support the development and implementation of tools or systems to streamline operations.Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions on supply chain challenges and solutions.Present a final project summarizing contributions and learnings to U-Haul leadership at the conclusion of the internship.Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and problem-solving.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with supply chain software or tools is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Interest in pursuing a career in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.What You’ll Gain:
