In return, we'll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. **Job Summary** A Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for owning supply chain and SAP process and training development, Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures to improve supply chain processes in a CDMO manufacturing environment.The role will support the standardization of current/future supply chain practices as well as supporting our supply quality management system. This role with work closerly with CRL learning and development team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead supply chain initiatives to standardize processes while collabroating with the Supply Chain business integration lead * Lead development & revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all CRL functions the use SAP both front line workers and also leadership. * Own the development and delivery for Supply Chain on-the-job training (OJTs) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supply chain * Responsible formanagment of deviations / investigations / CAPAs / change controls on behalf of supply chain * Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. * Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure on-time delivery. * Lead the development and control of commercial packaging for client drug product * Support ERP implementation & improvement and identify new areas of opportunity * Support implementation for inventory control strategies to enhance accuracy and efficiency. * Support the identification of inefficiencies in the supply chain and implement best practices. * Work cross-functionally to improve workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks. * Make improvements in SAP system and oversee inventory * Support manufacturing SAP transaction activities * Perform all other related duties as assigned. **Job Qualifications** * Associate Degree or higher education preferred * Minimum of 2 years working in a regulated manufacturing or distribution environment preferred * Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems). * Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams. * Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines. **About Biologics Testing Solutions** With more than 50 years of experience and proven regulatory expertise, the Charles River Biologics group can address challenging projects for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
